Crossed from death to life

In our worship service in the urban poor area of Waray, one mother asked prayer for her dying son. Doctors diagnosed that he had acute hepatitis and his liver and other internal organs were already damaged. During the service we prayed that the Lord would enable us to reach Bonifacio before he died. We went back down to the village and visited him and gave him opportunity to receive the Lord into his life. He did that very day.

Two days later Bonifacio was called to his heavenly home. The following Sunday, we held our worship service in the Waray village again during the wake of Bonifacio. The Lord gave us opportunity to share God’s Word to the people gathered - even to the men who were the drinking friends of the deceased young man. The Lord is so good. Twenty-four people opened their lives to the Lord that day.
