OMF Philippines Ministries
OMF is engaged in many ministries in the Philippines. We do them in teams, usually with fellow OMFers and nationals. These ministries fall into five groups.
Indigenous Peoples/Tribal Ministries
OMF works among the indigenous people of Mindanao and Mindoro. We are both taking them the Gospel and addressing their physical needs in practical ways.
Malikha Urban Poor Team
We are building relationships with needy communities through community development projects, youth groups, Bible studies and meetings.
Urban/Rural Ministries
OMF is planting churches, running socioeconomic projects, and doing community development in a variety of urban and provincial areas.
Teaching/Training Ministries
We help provide theological training in a number of settings. Some are formal; a few are less formal; and others focus on producing discipleship materials.
Support Ministries
OMF personnel help educate missionaries' children by teaching and running dorms. Others manage our guest homes. Still others engage in other support roles which enable our missionaries to focus on their mvision.
